    i love slick tricks. was practing and shot one through my target. it left an exact outslide of the broadhead straight through my fense! they sure do pack a punch

      Hmmmm, weird. I have skipped a couple of tricks off of some pretty large rocks where I hunt and they haven't broken. I would bet just a weak spot in the metal. Call Gary up, I would bet that you will get it replaced. I would think he may want to inspect the head to find out what happened.

              Maybe it's from shooting out of my Mathews Monster at 318fps!

              I'm definitely hard on stuff, thats why I buy good equipment in the first place

                Nah, I shot the Grizz Tricks last year at 317fps out of my GT500 and they didn't break.

                    Some friends of mine had this same issue with Slick tricks in Africa back in 03 and lost mopre than 1 animal because of it. They figured out that it happened most when the shot was made quartering away. Straight on they were solid. Supposedly ST has made changes to the ferrule since them, but I won't use them because of that happening.
