It all started the first of the year I was going on a two day javelina hunt on a bowhunting only ranch in south Texas. I was so excited to go and get a javelina that I can't explain. It was set up for the middle of March and I had everything ready. Due to an unfortunate happening with my family I was unable to go. I was so upset about everything. I called to let the ranch manager to let him know. I'm going to do my best to go this time around. I was just wondering if february would be to early or should I stick with March? Being that February is when they start the hunts and I want to go so bad. Any help would be appreicated.

I would rather hunt them in Feb. since it is cooler for putting on stalks and such.......they are good hunting year round.......Comment

Either month is fine. The only thing I've noticed weatherwise with javelina is they seem to like sunny, warm, dry days over cold and rainy, but you can't predict that a week in advance, much less 4 months.Comment
