Yeah, I know the higher you go, the more debatable the shot will be, but lately I have been getting busted more then I care to, and I try to be totally steal mode. Next time I'm on the stand I'm going to cut that limb over my head and crank it up 10 or 12 more feet. I should be in the 25-27 feet range by then.

          30' in the climber
I carry a 30' rope to pull my bow up. That rope is attached to my bow (on the ground) and to the bottom of my climber. I just climb (and saw, usually) until I'm out of rope.

          20' in a lock-on
I have two sets of sticks that are both 20' or I'd be higher.

I guess I like to get high!

Was busted last week by a smart doe. I was in a climber about 15' off the ground. But the selection of tree's was limited and I had to choose one without much cover. Probably should've went up a little higher under the circumstances. In my opinion concealment and wind direction is more important than how high you go.

I quit around 20' normally but I have gone higher.

There are times that 10' is too high to be able to see because of the thickness of the undergrowth

anything over 25 and the shot angle places into it....your target starts to shrink...
