Uvalde Rut Prediction

I've tried for the past three years to hit the rut in Uvalde County(20 miles south of Campwood). I haven't seen a full rut yet. Any prediction this year when it will occur?

we hunted there for 8 years. same area and thanksgiving wekend they were rutting most years.

Scotty you nailed it, I have a ranch in D'hanis and the
10th of Dec seems to be about the peak

I hunt in camp wood every year around christmas, and the rut is definitely over by then.

i hunt the brackettville area and the bucks will start looking for does about last week in nov and full swing about 2nd week in dec
some of the best bucks taken off the lease were in late nov

We hunt 1/2 mile west of the fork in the Nueces. As others have said, Thanksgiving weekend is when they usually start to move and it is usually peaks between the first and second week of December.

We are about 18 miles north of Brackettville and if I had one week to be on the stand it would be Dec 10-15
