I have a pop up that I set up this week and left it up so that the deer could become more acclimated to it. I have it set with those large yellow tent stakes instead of the wire ones it came with, but I am concerned that the weather that is coming in today could have an effect on it. It is set up in a low area for one, and it is also amongst a group of 8-10 foot saplings with larger trees surrounding the general area and blocking the majority of the wind, so no large limbs are close enough that can fall on it. In general though, what is their ability to hold up to weather if it was more out in the open?

I can't vouch for all stands but I will say the double bulls are tough, I have one that is 9 years old and it has spent a several season in the weather, today it is still just as reliable, hasn't faded and the material is just as tough as the newer model I have.. I have had the wind fold it up once or twice over the years but that is my fault as I don't use the strings to tie them up....
