    Need a gmail guru

Let's see if I can explain my problem in type.

Incoming e-mail in gmail will come in bunches ~if they have the same subject line~.

For example...if I have 10 mails that have the subject "New Private Message at TexasBowhunter.com Community Discussion Forum", they stack on one line in the inbox. (Does that make sense...describe that right?)

One of the problems I have with this is...
    if the bunched mails,
have individual mails, that need to be filed in different folders
    (hope you followed THAT...LOL),
    I can't break them out.
    Making me craz--ier

Anyway... I have several types of bunched Subjects, some that have to do with orders, that this happens to. I have search high and lo to find a way to break these incoming mails into individuals with no luck. So....I'm turning to the Green Screen Brain Trust for help.

How do you look at your emails, do you use an email Client to view them or do you log into gmail's web interface itself? If you use something like outlook to view them, then you can rename each individual email (I know it is a hassle and tedious) so gmail will not see them as the "conversation". I have been looking for a way to do this via gmail, but it does not seem possible. Will keep you informed if I find another way to fix this.

        Log into Gmail.

I hit send before seeing the rest of your message. I have just been told by another person that it doesn't appear possible.

        What was Google thinking???

That is just Gmail. You can't separate them out:

You can use Outlook or Outlook Express or you could forward the emails to another account.

Mary - Would you be against using Outlook for your email client? It would solve this and I'm sure other problems.

I originally didn't want to use Outlook, but I think this will force me to. With the volume of mails I receive, my OCD can't take them not being filed in the right folders.

                  Mary; you could use thunderbird.
