My questions are specifically about the Grizzly Stick broadheads, the Masai and the Samurai, along with the silver flame. Does anyone have ANY complaints with any 3 of these. I am going elk hunting and I am fully aware that many breaheads will take down an elk, but this my be the hunt of a lifetime opportunity for me, and I want to make sure my broadhead will do the job even if I am a little shaky and don't make a great shot ( i.e. hit large bone, so please don't tell me about any mechanical heads). I am preparing for the worst and "planning" on hitting the scapula. So the question....
I will be shooting between 65-70# at 29" with a 445 gr. arrow going right at 260 fps. Is single or double bevel the way to go, or is it ever wrong to go with single bevel?
Also, I have looked at Steel Force and Magnus Stinger heads and like what I see. Does anyone have success stories about blowing through large bone with these head?
Thanks for the help.
