    Windows Critical Update

For those that have not checked yet, Microsoft pushed out about 20 critical updates last night for XP, Vista, and Windows 7 Beta. Apparantly there were some pretty big holes that needed fixed. I would update now if I were you.

I only showed 11 critical updates and just installed them. Thanks.

Fear equals control and Microsoft is the biggest fear monger on the planet. Seems everything they put out is critical. Either way I have nothing to worry about because I don't bank online. I don't really care if Al Quida takes control of my computer. Since I'm still on dial-up any real hacker would commit suicide waiting for something from my system.

Microsoft is the biggest target since they have the biggest install base. Every hacker wants a piece of the big boy. Apple makes it sound like no one can hack their system and so there are no viruses for the MAC. I don't think that's quite the case. It's simply that Microsoft has so many people searching through their code looking for a way in. It's wise to keep it as up to date as possible.

The critical updates simply mean they are plugging yet another hole that some clown dug up.

So what you are saying is that if you have 80% of the market, you get 80% of the problems?
