If You Can't Make Fun Of Yourself

Then who can you make fun of?

I r serius waitlifter. Dis mah serius face.

And yes, it is only 65#, so come on with the "Nancy Boy" cat calls, but be advised the workout had to be done using only one bar so I had to scale the weight for my weakest lift.

Oh yea, and my chest/shoulders were burnt from the pushup tabata "warmup" we did prior to the WOD.

    WOD

    7 Deadlift Sumo High Pulls
    5 Hanging Squat Cleans
    5 Push Press
7 Overhead Squats (My weakest lift by far. Shoulders are not good holding overhead weight.)
    80 Jump Rope Skips
    50M Sprint

AMRAP in 18 minutes (I got 3-3/4 done).

What, you don't like the "human glowstick" touch?

Works great for running at dusk. I think the International Space Station can see me out there.

Overhead squats require flexibility that I do not posesss... but I'm working on it. Weak link is shoulder flexibility.

We did a clapping push up knees to elbows workout on Monday that still has me a little tore up.

            nice job

65 is a very respectable weight for that run of the gauntlet. Thats WOD there is real similar to "BEAR" and I can vouch for 1369 it just plain burns and takes your breath away. Especially when your not allowed to put the bar down not even to regrip. I've been there and way to embrace the suck.

                3, 2, 1, GO!!!

How much does each plate weigh? You say 65lbs, but every squat and bench bar I know of weighs 45lbs on it's own..

Looks painful either way! I remember those days, a long, long time ago...
