    My new ride

Finally traded in my trusty 2000 model Z-71 for the lastest and greatest version. It took the salesman an hour just to go over all of the electronics and whizbang things this baby will do!! There is a world of difference between this model and my 2000. My wife drives a Lexus and is ticked off because this thing has three times as many features as her car.

Been looking at these and the fords. not sure which one I want. I haven't driven either of them yet. Rode in Larry's F-150 last November. I went and checked out the Ford's last night. I sat in a couple of 4X4s and a King Ranch. I liked the K.R interior. What kind of deal were you able to work out with the Z-71?

        Nice truck by the way!

Nice ride Mel. What will your thought be when it gets its first Texas Pin Stripe?

I think I have an extra sticker in my truck thats yours.

Same here.....just can't get myself to pull the trigger on the Ford with their gas mileage though....I do like their look.

I was at NTA today and a gentlemen there had a new Z71 like the one pictured but black. We got to talking about it and he offered to let me drive it. Very very nice........It was nice to test drive a vehicle without a salesman gnawing on your ear....

The whole thing happen real fast. I was actually gonna buy a Tundra, but at the last minute read some reviews on the trucks by the owners and there appears to be several issues that these guys were having that turned me off. I called Reliable Chevy in Richardson and talked to the same guy that sold me my 2000 model, only now he is the new truck manager. Got to the dealership at 3:00 just to drive one and see how they were priced. Never once was worried about Chevy quality because of my prior Chevy trucks. By the time he was done with the rebates, squeezing his numbers, uping my trade by $1,000, then offering 0% for 36 months, I had to pull the trigger. This truck is actually nicer than my wifes Lexus. It is unblievable what came on this vehicle.

About the West Texas Pin Striping. I think I'm gonna use my Tacoma as the lease vehicle. This think is just too Purdy to take off the pavement!! Jason, is it a white background sticker or camo?

I have some of the camo stickers but they are at my folks house. I think I have one of the red white and blue ones still in my truck though. I have more of them at my parents also just need to get them located.

Smart, these are the 18" wheels. Go to MSN automotive website and type in Toyota Tundra. Friday morning there were 50 reviews. I read all 50 of them. There as a possible 10 point satisfaction rating and it only received a 7 out of 10. Heck, those trucks have only been out 2 months. You ought to still be in the Honeymoon period after 2 months.

Tmag592, the rear seat is a 60/40 split.

Go to hear because that's what I'm looking at and they look good.

                            Thanks for the Tundra info.

Jason, if you can put your hands on the red/white/blue one, I'll buy it from you. Got just the place to put it.
