    Setup "popup"

Well cant wait till this weekend, this will be the first hunt on a new lease. I have some very encouraging TC Pics. I have been wanting to display my new setup. I set it up on Labor day weekend and really like the pop up setup. It is on a mound that is about 12 to 15 feet above my feeder and I can see about 180 degrees. I also have a quad pod setup as well but not real happy about it just yet. I think I my be busted out of it and my relocate it this weekend before the rut hits. What do ya'll think.....

Looks good. Are you going to be able to shoot down to the feeder?

Your pop-up looks great. I even think your quad pod is okay. As long as the trees behind you break up your form you should be fine, but if you don't feel confident in your setup then go ahead and move it.

Quadpod is a little too exposed, looks like you could put it a little further back and then cut you a shooting lane, still want as much cover in the front as you can. Popup looks really good!

Confidence in what you have IS one of the biggest keys though, I agree with Brad!

Yes, it will not be a problem. I will be able to shoot pretty close to the bas of the mound most of the way around. I went up there last thursday and I weedeated the grass on my shooting lanes. These mounds make great places to setup popups on. The cows don't go on top much and the deer don't get too close to ya. I do have a strand of barb wire around the pop up though just in case, also it makes it easier to brush it in without caving in the pop up.

I think I am going to put a hang on stand in the tree that my quad pod is at.

I might suggest slinging a arrow out of it to a target below to make sure you dont join the "I SHOT THE WINDOW" club, which I AM a member of

                        Bowtech,
Set up looks good. I don't think you necessarily get busted from the quad as long as the wiind is on your side and/or scented good.
Where are you there in Quanah? Been hunting there for 11 years.

I am also afraid of swirling wind in this spot as well. It is on the north west side of the feeder and I am not expecting very many deer coming in from my back side.
