New string and nocks dont fit right

i have never put on a new string before. well yesterday i had one put on and while practicing and resighting in i noticed my nocks werent fitting snug like on my old string. i have a drop away rest and also little thing that holds the arrow snug so the arrow doesnt move around until i pull the string and the rest picks it up out of the holder thing. so now a few of my arrows would get pulled off the string with the little force the arrow holder puts on it.

what can i do to make the string a little thicker? put more serving? thanks

if you bought the string from a proshop i would have them fix it

More serving would be my guess. I've never had this happen before though so I'm just guessing.

Have it reserved with thicker serving.

Reserving is the answer. No 2 manufactures nocks are the same. I would suggest taking all your arrows that you shoot with you, so they can find a happy medium. JMHO, good luck

Another solution I have used is to heat your nocks in hot water and then pinch them closed just a bit. I use needlenose pliers when doing this. Snap the nock onto the string and then pinch it closed a bit and hold a few seconds until it cools.

Different nocks would be the easiest.

Boil water and place the nock end into the water and pinch the nock....
