Does anyone know of someone in South Texas area (Pearsall, Devine, Uvalde) who buys live hogs. I catch over a 100 every season and would like to make a little cash on them. What is the average going rate? Any advice would be appreciated

I would call game raches around your area, but make sure that they follow the new TPWD rules for transporting PIGS, they have to go to approved facilitiesComment

southern wild and game in devine tx is the only buyer in the state other than private ranches. i sell them all year long and there have been companies that have started up but just cant compete with the market that southern wild and game have...... also some of the prices are not worth trapping just depends on the flow of hogs comin in ...... they used to give head bonuses but now they havent bc they are the only ones in the state that buy hogs, so there is no competition for buying them. if you need the number pm me or something and ill call my buyer guy that buys for them up here in east tx and get it for you brotha........ hope this helpsComment
