    Pronghorn Hunting

Does anyone know of a pronghorn outfitter or landowner that has bowhunts in TX? We don't need accomendations or food we can do that without an issue, so they don't nessessarly have to have that stuff. I would prefer to shoot one in my home state, I have no idea why a TX pronghorn get me going but it does. Any help would be great. Thanks

I don't know anyone, but a pronghorn from any state with stick and string is a trophy. Good luck!

I totally understand about killing one in Texas. If you do change your mind and want to hunt in New Mexico, maybe I can help point you in the right direction.

You have until April 7th to put in for a New Mexico draw tag.

Opps looks like the extended the apps process to the 10th of April.

                  good luck

No need for the apps if you have landowner tags

Clent, you're gonna be adding on to that cabin before it's even finished! LOL

I really figured you'd have a game room about equal to the size of the whole cabin. But, I guess since you have a loving, understanding, participating wife, you can hang heads anywhere you want ... not just in the great room!

You can call the game biologist in the West Texas or panhandle areas and they will give you a list of landowners who want to sell their tags. We had a few in the panhandle for as long as we wanted them, but let someone else get their foot in the door and you move down the list. Last year I videoed a hunt for a friend in Dalhart. The ranch was 20,000 acres and they got 6 tags. I believe we have them all spoken for this year, but if I can get any new info I will post it here.
