Are you a hunt all day hunter or a morning and evening hunter?

I've never been able to sit on stand longer than about 4 hours. Mostly I hunt in the morning till around 8:30 to 9 depending on deer movement and usually get to the stand in the evening about 2 hours before dark. Do I miss some deer, probably. During the rut, I'll do a mid morning or mid day hunt, but that's about it. I dont want to miss out on the camp life!

Love to cook, shoot pool, shoot bows, skeet, ar's, watch Texas TV, etc.

I guess I'm not that mad at them! Dont get me wrong when it's time to hunt i'll strap on my boots and go to work. Just love the whole experience!

Only hunt all day when trailcam tells me too, otherwise just morning and evening with extended sits. Get out long enough to eat, tend to toileteries, feed the nicotine habit, and back in.

During late October and through November I hunt the mornings till 930-1000 and I go out about 3pm in the evenings. Early bow season and late gun season I do the same thing you do.

I'm a morning and evening hunter as well. It seems like we always have work to do around camp, filling feeders, etc.

I find it real hard to sit more than 3-4 hours. Plus, I enjoy all the BS around camp.

I'm not mad at em either.

Late oct and Nov. I hunt all day. Before that I usually only hunt from an hour before sun up and til noon. Or 2 til dark.

It just depends on the situation. For instance, when we hunt Nebraska I sit all day but back home I like to come in and see what everybody saw that hunt. We team rope and steer rope a lot during the middle of the day and do a lot of scouting and glassing on horseback.

I can not sit all day. In the mornings I will sit until about 9:30 to 10:00 and in the evenings I will get out about 3:30 to 4:00. Part of hunting to me is the camp life.

Depends on weather and deer movement. I have sat all day but not very often. I get fidgety if I sit for long. Ground blinds help with being able to move and stretch.

Stand hunting - Morning and Evening.

If I can get off the stand and move around, I will hunt all day if the situation allows.

Depends on how much time I have and what needs to be done at the ranch.
If its a quick weekend hunt, I will sit in the morning until 10, go back out from 11-1, then 1:30ish til it gets dark.
If I'm going to be there for 4-5 days. I'll usually hunt really hard at first, then maybe only spend 8 hours in the stand.

i used to not be able to sit in stand that long, but now i take a psp with me. i put head phones on and after i sit for a couple hours i pop a movie in. i can sit for a lot longer and i usually will put the psp in my pocket and just listen to the movie.
