    Slick Trick Problems

    Is anyone having problems with the slick trick 100 magnums. I was shooting a tight group with field points and with the slick tricks i was shooting 2 inches to the left and 2 inches up. My bow has been tuned by On Target Archery and so has a buddy of mine on the lease and his was the same problem but not as much. We both had to sight our bows in for the broadheads. Has anyone had any problems with them? Thanks for all the input.

    Mine were off just a bit but with a small adjustment to the rest they are same POI as field points.

      Just started using the Slick Trick 100g magnums this year.
      Mine were about 2 inches left of the field tips, adjusted for the STs.
      Odd thing now STs and field tips shoot the same (?).

      Got a doe with one yesterday and was really pleased with the result.
      Cut a rib going in and one coming out, she went maybe 25 yards. Excellent blood trail.

      I've never had any fixed blades shoot exactly like the field tips.

          Mine were shooting 1.5 inches low at 20 so using the easton tuning guide, I lowered nock point just a little and now both are hitting within .5 inch of each other.

            I've had slick tricks for a few months, and mine fly the same out to 35 yards.

              It is not a Slick Trick issue........it is a bow tuning issue.

              Start with the up and down......move you nock up in 1/16" increments until your broadheads and field tip hit on the same plane.

              Then go to left / right issues.......move your rest to the right (toward the bow for a right hander) in small increments until Broadheads and field tips have the same POI.

                When they tuned your bow did they shoot field points and Slick Tricks or just field points. If they shot just field points then your bow was not broadhead tuned. If could be shooting your field points great but still need some slight adjustments to shoot Slick Tricks or any fixed blade broadhead.
