well to start with my wife calls me the other day and ask me if i knew what her dad might like for his b-day . his b-day is coming up on friday oct.2nd and her and her mom were wondering what to get him.well from watchin the outdoor channel and hangin out with him at the lease i kinda had a good idea of some things that he said he would like to have.. So i tell them about them and they say ok .. well today my wife and little boy came to eat lunch with me , and while in the beaumont area wanted to pick up one of the items i had told them about for her dad.. well i went back to work and she headed to gandermountain to which i had called the lady in the optics department to tell her which kind that my wife needed to get.. well my wife got there and the lady got her the range finder i had decribed and was on her way home... i got off work at 5:30 and headed to pick up the cookie cake and proceeded to her moms house to eat supper and cookie... well we decided to give him his gifts early since we would be in burnet come friday. my wife came out of the room with 2 gift bags in her hand and handed one to her dad and one to me ... Its not my b-day why am i gettin a gift.. she told us when she handed them to us that we had to open them at the same time so i fifgured it was a joke or something but what came out of that bag almost brought tears to my eyes.. It was the rangefinder that i described to my wife that i thought was for my father-n-law.. i was speechless! in his bag was the range finder that he already had that i ask my wife to see if i could buy when he got his new one............ the whole time i had picked out my own gift and didnt know it ... they really are a One Of a Kind Family and would not trade them for the world... i had been wanting a rangefinder for quite a few years and have never really had the money to get one... well i finally got one thanks to my wonderfull family they all pitched in and got it for me before this comin sat and really surprised me with it .. in conclusion to the life story i got me a Bushnell Scout 1000 ark (the one in the Micheal Waldel comercial) thanks to a very loving family.... One thing that i learn in this whole thing is that family is very important and will move mountains for you as long as you return the favor... Keep your family close and keep them on your mind all day every day i know i sure will....... oh and my father in law got some rage broadheads, a primos bowsling and a new pair of scentblocker Boa boots........ just thought i would share my familys thoughtfullness with yall ........ By the way this is the first time i have ever gotten a gift just out of the blue (without occation).. thanks for reading......................
