Depends on how bad you want to sell them.

      There ya' go....

You're not wrong but neither is he... I sell stuff all the time and in most cases I will deliver or meet halfway if it can't be mailed or UPS'ed... for me it all depends on my mood.

Lots of great recommendations. Unless you listed free delivery, you can't be expected to deliver them on the other side of the United States. This is only 2 hours away, but that still cost you time and money.

If you don't want to meet, then tell the buyer your terms or what it will cost to meet 1/2 way.

I would offer to do this if he paid more ($50 sounds reasonable) and he paid a deposit up front.

I would not deliver for free and I would not drive 2 hours to meet a "potential" buyer unless I had a deposit. Way too many flakes runnin around anymore

He wants us to meet him half way. My g/f is frustrated that he wants us to dive 2 hrs away to meet him. We both feel that this is a little far since we are letting letting the pups go for way under what their value is. Is it wrong that we don't want to meet him half way. I feel that if i wanted something i would be willing to come pick them up, or arrange a delivery, if i wanted them bad enough. Are we in the wrong? Just would like to get yall's opinion. Im by no means a bad or rude person. let me hear yall opinion!

Just keep in mind that this may be a sign of the economy. If you are a breeder and are going to be selling these annually or so you may want to keep in mind that it may also help you find business. A great Catahoula is great Catahoula. His friends will recognize it and inquire, 'hey, where did you get that great dog?" He will recommend you and so forth.

We picked up a great Lacy last year right before Christmas. Where did we met CTEX? Gas station in Bastrop Texas

It was well worth the ride and time!

When I had my wiener dog FREE to good home in the classifieds, I was going to meet a guy from Houston half way. That is 3 hours one way, knowing the dog was going to a good home I didn't mind really.

I know who you are talking about who wants the dogs, and they would be going to a great home. Didn't he offer you 300 for both then didn't he offer you your asking price of 400 if y'all would meet?

There are plenty of dogs out there, like others have said you are the seller, you don't have to do anything and nobody should think any less of you. And that is rediculous(to the people saying that) assuming that the guy is lazy and won't go to a good home just cause they ask if somebody can meet them.
