I've noticed that most ranges the owners/employees tend to be grouchy. heck same with some bow and gun shops too.

Gotta be talking about the one in Sunnyvale just go check the online reviews it will all make sense that this is not a one time deal I have never had a problem matter of fact they are cool with me but I have seen them rip people's ?@! over nothing . I have friends that refuse to go there , try Garland shooting range its not too far from thereComment

I quit shooting with those Jackholes. I drive to Garland's gun range. A couple of years ago I brought a 20 gauge slug gun and a 45/70 to sight in and they told me the 45/70 was fine but I was absolutely not allowed to shoot the slug gun. WHAT???????
Almost the exact same ballistics and shell size. He tried to tell me that the shotgun was more likely to ricochet and tumble. WHAT????????
On top of that he's just a good ol' fashioned Butthole.Comment

The problem is.....
that they are one of the few ranges to allow FMJ ammo for rifles. Elm Fork won't. I know that. Not too many place where I can shoot that Garand.
They are a little touchy, but as long as I've been going out there, they've been all right.
