    Antler restriction counties

I hunt in two counties, both are AR (antler restriction counties).

    Question that I have:
Can I kill a buck with a spread greater than 13 inches in one county and then kill another buck with a spread greater than 13 inches in the other county?

yes...and then hop over to another county and shoot a 3rd one, but at that point you need to stop and start looking for someone with permits.

I used to have access to a property that had a county line running through it, both one buck counties. I called to confirm that I could in fact shoot two bucks off that property and mark one as from each county.

Our lease is in two AR counties .The county line runs through it and we have about 20 acres out of 250 that are in another county .The game warden said we could shoot a 13"or better buck on each county. I wonder if you met him at the gate with a tagged buck from the county that the gate was in but the buck was tagged and recorded on your liscense from the county at the back of the lease how he would approach you then.I`ll bet he wouldn`t just take your word for it that it was killed in another county without wanting to see where the gut pile was or some sort of proof of blood in the county where he was shot.Last year My blind was in one county and my feeder was in another county. It was my first year on the lease and I didn`t know it until we were looking at a map on msn.com that had the county lines on their aerial maps .I moved my whole setup to another location this year so there won`t be any confusion about what county my deer gets shot in this year.

My lease has the county line running thru it too. One is 13"+Spike, the other single buck. As long as we're tagged right, no legal issues. The only issue we have is that just because we can theoretically take 3 bucks each, do we want to. The obvious answer to that is No, we're on 250 acres!
