If you don't mind me asking...what does the mexican style mac and cheese consist of? That sounds good.

Man.... We usually eat like bachelors (microwaved food) when we go hunting. I think I'm going to bring some steaks for the other hunters, maybe a few taters too. Just to change things up a bit.

Funny I should run across this thread. I was just thinking about that 5 minutes ago. Time to get the menu together, since I'm the camp cook.

                  Here it goes:

Friday supper: Burgers or brats, beans
Saturday breakfast: Thick sliced peppered bacon, fresh cut hash browns, fried eggs (sunny side up), juice, camp coffee in a percolator
Saturday lunch: 1/2 pound burgers with all the fixins, chips
Saturday supper: Stew (if its cold), pulled pork (if I feel like smoking), Ribeyes (if I feel like spending the money), beans (we stink up the tent a lot)

I'm hoping to switch from a liquid fuel stove to a propane stove like the ones at Academy. Camp chef is the brand they carry. I can't decide between the 2 burner and the 3 burner. 2 burner is a little over $100 and the 3 burner is almost $200. If I can't decide, I'll probably stick with the coleman 2 burner.

Sandwich in blind at some point during day(couple of pieces of fruit, snacks, etc. also). Too tired and mentally drained to eat that night at camp after all day vigil. Next day, lots of big-boy sodas to celebrate the harvest.
