It was tanned by South Texas Fur Dressers but it was an old cape and had already started to get acid swell which made it thick and stiff.

thanks for the replies. i realize it is not the best work and there are some issues we had with the cape but ultimately, i think once i have it finished its better than the one i have paid good money for so it can only get better in my mind..
