Mills County

I just received word that I may have an oppertunity to hunt in Mills County. Do any of you guy's know how good the hunting is down there?

I've been hunting down there for one week a year for about 12 years, on a place near Mullin that borders Pecan Bayou. Lots of deer, as well as some nice ones.

I hunted a place there one evening. The place was wide open with a few big trees and I could see all the way across the pasture from my stand.That didn't slow down the deer activity though I saw alot of deer that evening.

I hunt just north of Goldthwaite.We're covered up with deer.Some turkey and a few exotics.

Family has owned some property around there for years and have always had good success. Lots of deer and turkey.

I only know about the eastern corner, and it's primo. Lot's of deer, VERY FEW turkey and pigs.

this buck is on my dad's place in mills co. so i would say there are some nice deer there
