    Let's Quit Snuff

Ok, I didn't want to steal the other post but after 15 years of snuff and trying to quit too many times, today is the day. Dang tax going up and there really isn't a cheap snuff anymore, its time to quit. Anyone wanna throw a can away with me? I've tried several time before like I said so it would be nice to have some company this time (the last time)!!!

Got about half a can left gonna finish it off {probaley by sat} and that it!
Already told the wife and she said "good luck". I did it once before I can do it again.

I'm with you although my last dip was last Sunday night at 11pm...my sons 4th birthday.

Figured after 15 years I'd best stop too.

We can do it. Stay strong!

Trying to quit 2 weeks before hunting season is tough! I wish you all much luck.

Nothing better than that first dip of Cope after morning coffee, or when driving around the ranch, or when sitting by a camp fire, or when chopping wood, or after a big meal, or when driving to the lease....you get the point; it always seems like a good time for a fresh dip during hunting season. I have been Copenhagen free for 6 years (after 14 years of using). It is a tough SOB to break.

I did some quick math and I will save close to 5500 a year by quitting!

Man I wish I had your problem. I would be buying one on the way home because that wouldn't last the night.

But after 12 years I am with you guys, quitting now.

                        Think of it like this:

Tobacco is a drug, if it were not anyone could quit at anytime....

Crack Cocaine is a drug if it were not anyone could quit at anytime....

                        Heroin is a drug """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" """"""""""""""""

                        Marijuana is a drug """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" """"""""""""""

everyone that quits has withdraw symptoms and you will to because tobacco is a drug........

I quit 11 years ago for my family... I had a hard time for about two weeks, but I put my family first and every time I wanted to buy a can of snuff I would take at that time $2.50 and put it in a jar...Man did I ever save some cash.

Tobacco is a drug and you are addicted to it... What are you going to do to beat that beast ?? Don’t protect it, keep it out in the open for all to see... Don’t give it a hiding spot...Keep it out in the open for all to see... And CHANGE YOUR MIND ... You are in control not the Beast....

Do not let this thread die... Keep posting everyday and keep everyone else posting along with it.... And the saying "A quitter never wins" is not true...

I quit 11 years ago and have been a winner ever since !!!!

Not to mention the obvious, but why don't you quit because it might save your life. As a dentist I have to throw that out there. You don't want to see what you will look like after they cut off about half of your face to rid you of the cancer. Good luck to you guys, I hope you all are successful with quitting.
