If You Have a New Guy On Your Lease Please Read

I was asked by a member on another forum to post this over here at Texasbowhunter. I have browsed the site for along time and this give me an excuse to sign up.

If you hunt around the Cisco/Eastland area and have a new guy on your lease please read.

Wanted to give everyone a warning in this area to be on the look out for a guy that drives a lifted maroon F250 King Ranch, 31 dark hair and maybe hunting with a "guy from work" or father. He will talk about all his grand adventures and hunting in Mexico.

He has been kicked off 3 leases in the past 5 years for shooting over his limit, hunting other peoples blinds without permission, taking guests mid-week when guest are not allowed, trashing the place with beer cans (drinks coors light like a fish), spotlighting, cutting locks (he did not pay and lock was changed) and doing donuts in farmer's fields while drunk. I can provide you with land owner names and guys he leased with for you to verify my story.

This guy is a smooth talker and works in gas/oil commodities.

If you think this guy is on your lease PM me with his name so I can verify it's the right guy and I will get you a picture and numbers to back up what I have stated above.

Like I said, just wanted to give everyone a warning so he does not screw up your place.

Me and the landowner called both the GW and Sheriff's office when the lock was cut and the fields torn up. The GW could not do anything at that time as he was already gone from the property. The Sheriff's office did file reports and I believe all that happened was a slap on the wrist and he had to pay the land owner to damage to the fields.

I pig hunt and varmint hunt the place in Ranger during off season where he was busted spotlighting with a group of guest (no guest allowed). The landowner caught him and advised him he a couple of hours to get everything off the property. I am not sure why the game warden was not called then.

I have warned everyone I know but some how he seems to weasel his way on someplace and screws it up. I thought this was a broader audience and could stop someone from going thru this mess.

I guess there are guys like this that just hop from place to place. There's a word for them, but I can't post it here.

Unfortunately, I think we all know someone like this (at least to some degree). I can think of a couple that we have kicked out of our leases and one was family.
