brucellosis is basically an animal venerial disease. we always make sure our labs are tested before breeding them. wont breed to any dog that isnt certified brucellosis negative

      Leave me lay, problem solved.

If you just love eating them, then only shoot pigs less than 80lbs. Some studies we were shown say that 95%+ of hogs over 100lbs tested positive for something bad. Hogs under that weight it was like 15%.

I think it has to do mostly with the age when they start to breed.

Thanks for the post, I'm heading down to Harbor Freight to pick up some gloves now.

AutoZone sells the boxes of 100 blue nitrile gloves for around $11. Works great on hogs and when changing your oil. I keep the box in my big cooler I always take hunting instead of on my work table in the garage so they'll always be there when I need 'em. The latex gloves give me the creeps, I always think about 'cough and look to the left' when I put them on.

Amen brotha. I prefer to give the coyotes all those nasty diseases!

That is the great thing about America you have choices in life. Like all information, it is your choice to decide what is best for you.

Brucellosis in cattle is very serious disease. You vaccinate heifers before a year old to prevent it.If your herd is diagnosed with it they are quarantined and will be tested again after a period of time.If they still test positive they will brand a B on their jaw and you have to sell them for slaughter. It's pretty serious stuff.
