Shoe-Goo, it's what shoe companies use. Seal All is a good substitute. You can get Seal All at Home Depot.

Shoe goo, it stays flexible when it drys. There is Sneaker goo, too.

Yep, holding the sole on a pair of my dress shoes as well. Hadn't come off yet and did it over a year ago.

When did you buy your boots? I recently returned a pair to Academy that I bought 2 years ago. They said they were able to take them back because they are still selling the same boot. Just another option. If not, Gorilla glue. That's what I used during rest of my trip since this happened while hunting (of course!) Good luck!

I use Gorilla glue on projects, and it dries rock hard. If that's the type of joint you want to to form, it's great stuff. If you want it to flex a little when you're walking, probably not.

The Shoe goo is also great to put a couple of small dots on the back of your sight before attaching it to the riser and tightening the allen screws. Helps keep it from rattling if the screws get a little loose, and I found the screws don't loosen when I did that. Just pop it off should ever need to.
