    Question about Kyle Field

OK Aggie finatics. I am going to my first A&M Football Game this weeked. I have two tickets, but I have a wife and a 2 year old son that are going with me. Do they have an age requirement on children, or can my kiddo just sit in our lap? I don't have an extra ticket for him. Not sure he will care if he goes or not, I just thought he might enjoy it. Please give me specifics like who I can check with to confirm. I don't want to get there Saturday and have to sit in the truck, or find a baby sitter.

EVERYONE needs a ticket to get into the stadium. PM me with the location of your tickets and I may be able to get you another one for free. You definitely need to get there early and let your son do all the pregame stuff as well....he will love it.

Depending on where your seats are sitting may not be an option

In my opinion, if you do not have the actual ticket for the seat next to you then leave your kids at home. There is hardly any room anyway and people try to bring their kids in say, "oh they will be in my lap the whole time" never happens.

Of course I am referring to stadiums that actually have full houses.

Problem is that whole "12th man thing they have going on", if your seats are on the home side they never sit down!

Everyone has to have a ticket - no matter their age.

Have fun this weekend, I'll be there too.

I doesnt matter where your seats are because you wont ever sit down. Every game I have ever been to the only time I ever sat down was when the opposing teams band was on the field. Oh but that was in the student section. Wouldnt know about the rest of the stadium. Definitely get there early for the pre-game activities. Well worth it.

Home side? Haha, no home side in Kyle Field.
The student section is the main section that stands the entire time. Most of the rest of the stadium sits.

You will need a ticket for him though...
                    Pre-game is a must.

Heath' we don't need seats , just room enough to stand. There won't be any kids there without a ticket, because there won't be any laps to sit in.

I always find it funny that ATM is the only school that thinks it stands during football games. Go to any major college stadium and the majority of the fans are standing up the whole game.

It was a joke! I guess a poor choice of one!

Everyone needs a ticket, but you will only be standing if you are in the student section - which you most likely are not. You might stand most of the game for Tech or Texas, but not this one.

For our 2 year-old, we always bought the cheapest ticket we could find from a scalper, then took her to our seats. There was never a problem. Especially at this game, it won't be a problem. With a 2 year-old, you will spend half the game walking around, anyway.

The really cool part is when the people in the upper deck walk to the other end in unison if play is in that end of the field.
