I drew back the latest offerings last time I was a Tripleedge & my current ride is in no danger of being replaced anyting soon.

The new (2009) Bowtechs looked too involved (didn't see an air raid) and the Hoyt AM's I drew felt like they had a 65-70% letoff.
Too involved is a good description, as is busy, or parts-heavy, but I can't believe anybody who has shot the Admiral properly timed and setup can walk away unimpressed.
I'm shooting a new bow that is not as involved and nearly as sweet as an Admiral, and I'm liking it so far. Might be a new addition to the shop.

I'll agree with rocky, IMO, it is the best short ata bow bowtech has ever produced.

If they improve the Admiral they've accomplished a lot. I love mine, nice break over and anyone who's shot mine says the let off feels like the cam locked up. I went to a 60lb variety and get as much speed as any of my 70lb bows of the past.

I shot it next to the reezen and shot an am32 so I didn't just buy into any hype, I like the bow better. 2010 would have to work hard to beat it.

Good point, I didn't shoot any, just eyeballed and pulled a few back.

Your "new bow" wouldn't happen to be an Elite would it?

                For what it is worth...

This may not be new news to all of you, but since I don't shoot bowtech it was news to me. Last night I was at the neighborhood playground with my son and another guy comes up with his little girl and we start talking. Come to find out his father-in-law recently took over as CEO of bowtech out in Oregon. I guess Savage Arms bought bowtech several months back and this guy was a friend of the guy who runs Savage so he hired him. According to the son-in-law that I met, they are making some good changes.

Yep, and every 2010 Bowtech will come with an accugrip and adjustable trigger . I'll take mine with a muzzle break & in stainless please.

I have it from a pretty reliable source that Hoyt will still be producing the AlpaMax, they will also have a new 34" bow and a new "speed bow". As one person put it, the Hoyt version of the Mcpherson Monster.

                    Can't wait!

Also, just read a couple things that I had not heard. Hoyt may be looking at a carbon riser....who knows. Just have to wait and see!

The 82nd Airborne is history. The Admiral is gonna get a makeover. And Hoyt is suppost to put out a new speed bow. That's what the little birdy told me :0
