Measuring arrow length???

When measuring arrow length, do you measure it with the nock or without? I feel like I should have already known this...

measure it to the inside of the nock(where the string fits in the nock)
This is the official way I was told.

I have always thought you measure from center of nock to end of bare shaft unless you clarify it is "bare" shaft measurement.

Yep, unless you are using one of the shaft selector programs... like OnTarget2 then it is usually bare shaft only.. no nock..

I'm not that advanced, I just use a saw setup to cut using a measurement from the bottom of the nock groove.
