    Bino's for 3D & Hunting

I was looking at some Bushnell Trophy 8x27 or H2O 8x25. What do you all think. I have some Bushnell H2O 8x40 they are nice. Just wondering what you all think?

After using some really good binoculars a few times last season (swarovskis) I am ready to make the switch from my Nikons but am still trying to do it cheap...been doing a lot of looking at Leicas and Swarovskis on e-bay. There really IS a difference.

I just like a 10x binocular. Even though I'm looking at really close animals, I like to see everything they have. I have the bushnell trophy 10x and have used them for about 4 years. I think my next set will be Wind River 10x50 or 12x50 Olympics. My brother uses the 12x50 Olympics and really likes them. I like to see if the deer has ticks before I shoot him. LOL

I know what you mean about high end binocs. One of my hunters about two years ago handed me his Leicas with a built in range finder. Here we are laying in the dirt and he hands me these things to call out ranges on a 10 we were trying to kill. Well, when I looked through them......DANG they were clear. More than I would pay, but ....DANG! Oh, and we got the 10.

If you guys have never looked through a pair of Vortex you don't know what you are missing. I must have clear, bright, fog free and waterproof for my type hunting and 3-D. I used a midrange pair (Diamondbacks 10x42 at the ASA) and was calling the arrow placement on each target for my group. I used a pair last September elk hunting and was so impressed I bought the company.....well not really but I did decide to carry them in my business...but I would if I could. I deal with hundreds of deer hunter's a year and I will not carry anything I don't personally believe in. Oh and their lifetime TRANSFERRABLE warranty can't be beat! If you want some of the best at even better prices check them out.

From tagging your first buck, to hitting the range with friends, to using the right optic to get closer to nature, our team thrives on your success.

OK, Durocab1, you have my attention. Looks like the Vultures are in my price range and that Skyline spotting scope looks like some nice features for the price. Tell me about them. You say you carry them in your business. Is that to retail them? If so, is the MSRP the price are do you beat it.

ive always been accustomed to nikons. i find them good for hunting and i used them in my 3D tourneys they are lightweight and plenty clear, plus they are in my price range. so gives the nikon travellites a try.

Thanks Fellas, I appreciate all the input. I had a pair of Wind Rivers but my son seemed to have misplaced them. I needed a reason to buy some new Bino's anyway. LOL

Try the Alpen Shasta Ridge 8x42. They cost $200 at Sportsman Warehouse.

                        tuthdoc,

I can promise that you would not be disappointed with Vortex. I had a pair of the Sidewinders and now am using the 8x Razors. I just gave my dad a new pair of 10x Razors...he used mine once this past season and fell in love with them. I also just order Mike the Nomad spotting scope and although I have only played around with it in the neighborhood I think you would be hard pressed to beat the quality for the price.

If I can get down to the ranch next month for the work weekend I will be sure to bring the 2 pair of Razors just so you can get an idea of how good they really are.

                        -Brandon

John, Marty (Durocab) will treat you right. He would also do the best, cleanest job of processing your deer if you were in his neck o' the woods.

I was hoping that deer turned out alright we need some hogs now if anybody can get one.

As far as the bino's TBH guys will be taken care of that's for sure.
