its not anywhere near austin but there is a nice rv park in matagorda that is right on the river and the bay!! and they have free wireless internet so you can hit the green screen!!

The Guadalupr River RV park in Kerville is a real nice place, lots of deer and very relaxing.

there is a place on the south side of Seguin that I see every time I pass through on 123, right on the river...looks like some prime fishing real estate......

Leisure Camp on the San Marcos river- halfway between San Marcos and Luling. The river is still running clear and cool. Nice folks. They had the National Airstream Rally there last year.
