I'm hoping someone might have an idea of what's wrong with my refrigerator. I noticed the day before yesterday it seemed to not be as cool, but this morning I had some water on the floor(i guess from melting in the freezer) and the inside of the fridge and freezer are not near as cool as they should be. I have it cranked all the way up on the cooling dial. I thought I would tilt it when I get home today and try to clean the coils with a nylon brush, anybody have any other ideas?

I had a similar problem, the automatic defrost circuit board had a bad relay, so it would not defrost. You can tell if that's the problem (at least I did) by removing everything from the freezer, and removing the cover panel to where the cooling coils are. If they're blocked solid with ice, the opening to the refrigerator side will probably be closed by ice buildup too. I defrosted all of it, and it worked OK for about 2 months, and then it happened again which confirmed the bad board. I found on on the web and installed it myself, in mine it's inside the refrigerator section up above the light.
Google the name and model # of the unit and "not cooling" and you'll probably find info posted on repair forums to help you.

Sounds like the same problem I had - I had ice build up in the freezer because the food covered the vents that help the heater remove moisture from the freezer. I moved the meat to another freezer. I let the ice melt - the frig started to work OK been 3yrs.
I found the problem after checking the heater, defrost thermostat and the defrost control.
I wish you good luck.
