Finally had hogs in the trap.

Went to Oklahoma for the extended weekend. Last weekend I set the feeder over the trap to throw a little heavy. Well this weekend it worked.

I built this trap this spring and it is a little small. Only two pannels. Anyway, I have never trapped a hog nor seen one in a trap. I will tell you they go crazy... CRAZY when they see a person. They were attacking the fence, jumping, and I think one barked at me.

Also (poor planning on my part) only had a 20 guage and a 9mm with FMJ target ammo.

That sucked for dispatching hogs. I also built the gate so it has to be opened from the inside, bad design. Also when you kill six pigs at once. There is a lot of work to be done.

I caught 4 hogs in a feeder and all I had was a 9mm. Had to shoot a couple of them 3 times before they would go down. And your right, they go crazy when they see you.
