While it is true that we are paying for welfare queens, it is that way whether they ban anything in the military or not. People on welfare probably have a higher than average percentage of drug addiction, smoking, obesity (figure that one out on welfare), teen pregnancy, alcoholism, suicide, sexually transmitted diseases, lower life expectancy, criminal record, etc
I figured it would be squashed, but the examples you mentioned above are the reasons why I started the discussion. These poeple are never expected to hold to a higher standard or any standard for that matter. I just think that the fact someone would suggest banning smoking(tobacco use) in the military with out also mentioning doing the same thing for Welfare recipients is BS
