      If you have good feeders, they won't be that way for long. If you have short feeders they will be even shorter when he gets finished with them. We had several red stage come through our place in Junction a few years back any feeder that you could fill off a truck was pushed to the ground.

          I have heard the same thing, they can cause some dammage. The people I talk to say shoot everyone you see.

                  I heard rumors that elk were getting/had gotten out of that fellas place off 335 just north of town. I believe that it's that Mexican guy with the huge horse stables and the big rock wall with all the broken bottles on top.

                    It's cool at first to see them but 6 feeders later, it got real old real quick. Destroyed the 6 timers in a little over a weeks time. I would take him out now before he starts to do damage. Great eating as well.

                      Elk will start breeding around 2nd week in sept. maybe a little later in texas but in colorado that is when the hoochie mama call works.
