Don't shoot her. She is definitly melanistic and they are more rare than albino. We did a study on them at the freeman ranch hays county in a 25 acre deer trap and one day came to drive around the trap and found all three dead killed by poachers one was a decent buck. sad!!!

Why kill her? Would be lucky to get a couple of hamburger patties off of her. Keep her around. Shes' been around that long she deserves to die on her own terms.
