I know this thread is a little late because it is the end of antler growing season but I was told the other day by a seasoned hunter that he uses a calltle creep feed instead of deer protien. He says it is much cheaper and for the most part the same thing. Have any of you heard of this or used this? I am not trying to be cheap but at $10.50 (purina andlermax 20%) a bag I have a hight protien bill every year. I went on line and tried to compare but had no idea what I was looking at.

thats high for deer protien. I get it in brady for 7.50 and in groesbeck for 8.00 and thats for 20%. Might have to shop around a bit -

A lot of creep feed is molasses based and doesn't work well in deer feeder. Tends to stick and ball upComment

In our protein feeders we use 3 bags of creep feed to every 1 bag of record rack. These are 2k lb feeders.Comment
