Oh boy - this brings up a sore subject.

Father's day this year, Kara drags me with her to the Oriental place in a strip center near Randall's. I sit up in the big massage chair and grin like a mule. The cute little Asian lady gets after my feet with gusto. I lay back and let it ride. It actually felt awesome. When she was done, the soles of my feet were as smooth as my one year old daughter's.

I happen to have a driveway made of small rocks, where I do woodwork hours at a time, usually barefooted. This is where the problem comes in! It took me a good three weeks before I could even lightly walk on the driveway - more less work out there. There's a good reason we have rough feet, Gentlemen. I suggest keeping them that way.

In a drunken stupor one night I let a friend TRY to wax my head. Let's just say I ended up with three bald patches, a rag stuck on my head and had to use gas to get everything out. Then I had to shave my head while it was blistered and bleeding because I had to be at work in 2 hours.

It took about 3 months for those patches to grow in, and if I let my hair grow out you can still see where it was - the hair grows at a different angle and slightly different color than the rest.

I've been shaving my head for about 6 years - I would love to be able to get a good dome waxing, but I'm here to tell you that **** hurts!

Now I, by Gawd, get a pedicure every 4 to 6 months. I started doing it when I was umpiring (28years). I promise, after standing on the dirt for 8 to 12 games on a Saturday, there are few greater pleasures in life...
