Need cheep camera for TC SD chip

I put the Moultrie D40 TC out this weekend and was wondering what you guys and gals do to take a look see of the photos in the field.

I was thinking of getting another SD Chip along with a cheep camera. That way I could just trade chips to bring one home and also see what's shaking out there in the field. This would work, right?

If this would work, what's a cheep go to heck camera that uses a SD chip? My Olympus Stylus 720 uses an XD chip.

I'm going to hang up and listen to your comments.

A lot of camera's will not view the Moultrie T/C due to the format . Just go and buy the 49.99 viewer or take your laptop with S/D drive .

I do the laptop route. Although, I have taken the digital camera out there, but it sure is a small screen!

I have Moultrie cameras & all my digital cameras read the SD card. So I take my camera to the stand & look at pics & for this year I bought a portable dvd player w/ an SD card slot to look at the better ones back at camp.

We use the laptop also. This way I can see a large picture and you can go ahead and save to your computer.

The digital picture frames typically run off of 9 or 12 volts DC. Small feeder battery and a 6-7" frame makes for a great viewer!

I have a kodak easyshare that works fine. I usually use it to look at the pics while in the stand, then look at them back at camp on the laptop. Here is another tip. "Larry" did a successful trial run on the "sd mini" or whatever it's called that will fit in your phone. They make an adapter the size of an "SD". He put that adapter and "mini" in his camera. Pull the "mini", put it in your phone and view pics.

                    Those are some great ideas.

My brother in law usually does the laptop route and we're usually out there together; however, since I don't have a laptop, that's why I was looking for an alternative for those times when I'm out there solo.

                    Thanks

I have a veiwer that i can plug into the TC. Although i prefer using my digital camera, the screen is small but you can zoom in. I guess I am too cheap to have a laptop!

That's what I do...I figure the 17" screen is much better for viewing pics anyways
