My two favorite pens (so far)

As always, when I'm supposed to be building pedestals in the shop, I am sucked over to the lathe like a moth to a flame!
I made these two for gifts for a couple friends.

These are both cigar style pens.
The top one is burled mesquite with copper trim.
The bottom one is axis antler (boy, that stuff is hard) with black titanium trim.

It's times like these when I wish I had just a LITTLE photagraphy skill!
I hope this shows the axis pen better. The black titanium is kinda a gunmetal grey color. It's really a neat looking trim.

We need to work out some kind of deal. I need the heavy part of the axis horn the base end. I cut these into bands for calls. You need the smaller tines... You catching what I'm tossing out.....
