We used to pour diesel (probably 2 or 3 cups to a 55 gal barrell) on our corn when we were buying corn in bulk and storing it in barrells to keep bugs out, it worked for the bugs and deer would definetely eat it. I would think that the diesel smell would be a lot stronger if you were pouring it on corn in a trap or on the ground and that would probably keep deer from eating it.....unless they were really hungry.

Is that even healthy for the deer or hogs? Why diesel on corn?

I am hunting hogs in that spot and I want the deer to leave my corn alone. They aren't supposed to eat corn with diesel on it but hogs will. My deer must be half hog cause they ate it.

Put the corn in a 5 gal bucket, pour enough diesel to where liquid is about 1 inch above corn. Soak over night. Nothing will eat this but a hog. your not putting enough diesel on it. Add a couple boxes of strawberry jello, grape coolaid
