I've been wondering if you can use a pistol scope mounted on a bow. I know it can be mounted with the proper mounts. I'm not sure if the eye relief would be long enough though.

I would think that the eye relief would be the same. I have seen some scopes that said they could be used for either.

I have ordered a HHA adjustable site mount with a 30mm BSA Red Dot scope so I am gonna give it a try. Thanks for all of the input.

That is pretty much the setup I have and think it is great for all the reasons zen mentioned above. Last year I did get a different red dot that has 3 dots on it for different distances.

exactly what i meant earlier. you gotta give up what you know and trust zeroing your scope. once you get it, you get it...

Arrowsmacker I will let you ( and the others ) know how it turns out.

Zen I understand your statements and I am wanting to try someting new to help in the low light conditions. I have switched from peep sites to a hind site and back along with upgrading bows ( all Bear ) during the past four years. It was a big change when I went to a Hind Sight for a year or so and back to a peep when I got my new bow. I went back to a multipin sight when I was drawn for a Aoudad hunt at Devil's River SNA and I figured I woud have to shoot at 50 + yards. I am ready to try this and with the knowledge I am gaining from every one I am sure it is gonna get even better.
