Mission Eiminator cable slide

Maybe I just practice alot, but the cable slide on my Mission eliminator wore through in less than two months, is it common to wear these out frequently?

I replaced it with an aftermarket slide and it's shooting great now.

That's the first thing I replace when I get a new bow. I've had great performance from the Sims Cable Slide.
