I almost died from eating at Gomez's......ughhhhhh that hurt. Alot of folks swear by that place though.

X2 on the Train......awesome place and service. Get there early or a little later than lunch hour though.

        My rating for burgers is:
        1. The train
        2. Sweet Oasis
        3. Humphrey Pete's
        4. Jerry's
        5. Triple T

Maybe we ought to try to schedule a link-up.....lots of TBHers in the area?

I have to join the "I Love Underwoods" crowd... except that I would never be fool enough to eat BBQ there. It's a cafeteria, not a BBQ place. Chicken Fried all the way... been goin' there since 4-H camp.

Mi Familia or Gomez's for Mexican. Humphrey Pete's is great. Underwoods is OK for fried chicken, rolls, cobbler, but NOT for BBQ. I quit eating their BBQ. Makes me sick every time. I like either Smitty's BBQ or Lemons BBQ. That Italian food place is very good too. Can't remember the name of it.

I am a fan of the train for burgers.
El Jimador for Mexican food. ( I like a place to be kind of clean)

If you eat at Underwoods watch out for the white headed crowd. My grandfather loves the place, It easy for him to decide and don't have to read the menu...

Underwoods is good. We usually hit it for dinner one evening on our spring turkey trips to Brownwood.
