Randy sadly these stores are stocked by demographics, not customer desire. If you notice, there is probably a HUGE selection of soccer equipment and baseball. Because there are more soccer moms and little leagues than hunters, especially in the wanna be Plano/Frisco part of the metromess. And this particular store chain paid Wal Mart a TON of money for marketing information. So unless you get all the folks on this thread to actually start shopping at this particular location, to change the marketing trend, then it aint gonna happen. But hey, at least the sun is shining and the weather is starting to cool!!!! Oh, and add 1 more from Denton!!

They are a Mass Merchant trying to reach the masses. They aren't capable of specializing and adapting to a particular market.
You have to give it to Walmart though. As big as they are, they will cater to the market as sales dictate. Walmarts in rural areas have a lot better hunting and fishing selection than some of those in the city.
I appreciate your effort though. My current goal in life is to complain enough about the SELF CHECKOUT at HOME DEPOT
that they will change their evil ways.

Dont ask me how I know, but the store in Denton will NEVER close the contractor check out ever again!!I feel like bouncing it off someones head even when the contractors desk is open sometimes. Like when there are 10 people in the line at the contractor desk and 5 employees standing around gossiping in the customer service area behind them.
Did I mention i HATE Home Depot. Arrrrrgh.
