    Whats your favorite meat????????

I once thought Blackbuck was pretty good and a notch above whitetail, BUT I now have added Sika to the TOP of my list!! Its a real dark meat and full of rich flavor, very good in my book!!

So what kind of meat do you savor??????

Eland tenderloins, preferably grilled and served with an endless supply of Castle Lager. Click image for larger version

Imagine a tenderloin as big as an elk backstrap cut two inches thick. Don't get any better in my book. This picture was taken the night we dined on the tenderloins of my eland bull. What you see on the grill there is ONE tenderloin, not both. We had the other a few nights later.

Heck, there's so many, it would be hard for me to choose. I guess wild bullfrog would be top of my list. Axis is super. Auodad ewes and small rams are great. Whitetail. Beef ribeyes on the grill with just the right amount of marbling. The big sow I killed this past season was corn and protein fed and is about as good pork as I've ever eaten. Young fried squirrel or squirrel cooked in a pressure cooker with gravey is hard to beat. Dove breasts with bacon and onion grilled and buttered makes my mouth water. Teal cooked the same way can make me hurt myself. wild turkey nuggets deep fried. Oh, can I eat those things. Crab and crawfish, boiled. Crawfish fried. Grilled bass or crappied, diamond cut with lemon pepper and butter. OK, I quit. My mouth is watering on the keyboard.

LOL. Next month we'll be catching, cooking, and eating bullfrog on the Junco. Not frog LEGS, but frog. Everything behind the tympanic membrane is edible. LOL

Axis for land based game and and Mahi Mahi or simply "dolphin fish" for water based game.

Axis tenderloin is my absolute favorite. For fish I will second the Mahi Mahi.

I haven't had the pleasure to eat that many different game animal's meat other than whitetail/mule deer/hog. I did go to Alaska in 2002 and killed a Caribou and let me tell you that is some great tasting meat.
