    Plotmaster 400 Help!!!

I have an opportunity to purchase one of these but dont know what they are worth. It is in great condition. Only used once but about 3 years old. How well will it work behind a 4 wheeler and how well in Texas soil?

Here is a pic. WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS WORTH???

Dont know what its worth, they are pricey new. I can imagine it working as well as a tractor, in tight soil or aver veg. but could be wrong. Might be why they used it once in 3 years.

I do not know anything about, but a quick google.com search pulled up some links with relative information and pricing for used ones:

they did not seem too eager to let me test drive it incase i dont bring it back. He is actually a tractor dealer and has other equipment he uses. He traded for it new about three years ago and was going to use it on his own lease but lost the lease. it has been sitting out behind his barn and just never really though about selling it. I approched him about buying it.

I did spin all the disk and everything was well oiled and greased before parked because it all works so far as I can see. You think 1,800 is a good price?

How much, and for how many years can you have someone come out and plant food plots for you for $1800, and have no repairs?

That sounds cheap for that model, but still dont know if it works well enough to justify

How much you going to pay me to come put your plot in twice a year (fall and spring) and we see how long it takes to pay for itself...

Just a thought but I might could lease/rent to my TBH buddies and probably pay for it in a year. To rent a tractor all all the implements to do the same thing for a weekend would probably cost 3 times the amount as renting this for a weekend. I could also use it at home on my 10 acres as well as at the lease.

If that is the one that the Tractor Dealer in Weatherford has, I almost bought it off of him back in February. He was going to sell it to me for $1,350 if I remember right. Hope that helps you

keep in mind a tractor rental is like $300, a ford 8n with a disk is $2000.
