Buddy and I went to the lease to test the distance from the stands to the feeders. Mine was right on anywhere from 12-25 yards. His was lacking. The longest shot as of now is at 25-28 yards. Well, we went to the archery shop in Victoria (Randy was"working") and tested the draw weight on his bow. 46 POUNDS!!!!
We were both floored!!! We immediately cranked that Betty up to 55 and practiced with it. What kinda draw weight is required to DEFINITELY kill with a fixed blade for that range (assuming shot placement correct, of course)?
