My wife got bit by something this morning (no dirty jokes here
); she has a red rash about the size of a silver dollar on her arm with an obvious small bite area in it. It doesn't itch, she said it feels like it's bruised but it's definitely bothering her.
She was jokking (sorry her lingo - combo of walking and jogging) this morning when she felt something fall out of a tree and land on her head (maybe totally unrelated - she thought it may have been a spider...). Anyway I'm wondering if we need to go to the doc's office or not. Our big concern coming from Southern Illinois is Lyme's disease; not sure how prevalent it is in Texas.
Any insight would be appreciated.
